Introducing the International Index Pool and the 500 Index Pool

The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund has expanded its individual investment pool program with the introduction of two additional index pools:

  • NEW: 500 Index Pool— This investment pool seeks long-term capital appreciation. It is wholly invested in Fidelity's Spartan®1 500 Index Fund. The fund invests in common stocks included in the S&P 500® Index.2
  • NEW: International Index Pool— This investment pool seeks long-term capital growth. It is wholly invested in Fidelity's Spartan International Index Fund. The fund invests in common stocks included in the Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe, Australasia, Far East Index (MSCI EAFE), which represents the performance of foreign stock markets. 3

These are being offered in addition to the current index pool, for a total of three to choose from:

  • Total Market Index Pool— This investment pool seeks long-term capital appreciation. It is wholly invested in Fidelity's Spartan Total Market Index Fund. The fund invests in common stocks included in the Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 Composite IndexSM.4

The value of the fund's investments will vary from day to day in response to many factors. Stock values fluctuate in response to the activities of individual companies, and general market and economic conditions.
