Introducing the U.S. Bond Index Pool
As part of our continuing effort to help donors achieve their giving goals, the Fidelity® Charitable Gift Fund expanded its menu of individual investment pools with the U.S. Bond Index Pool, providing donors with more options for their Giving Accounts®.
The U.S. Bond Index Pool is designed for donors who wish to recommend a fixed income allocation and seek an alternative to active management for their Giving Accounts®.
U.S. Bond Index Pool
- The pool is wholly invested in the Fidelity U.S. Bond Index Fund, which in turn normally invests at least 80% of the fund’s assets in bonds included in the Barclays Capital U.S. Aggregate Index.
- As a bond index tracking pool with no active management, the U.S. Bond Index Pool will have the risks associated with the underlying securities included in the index and will fluctuate in response to the activities of individual companies and general market and economic conditions.
