You can support charities by making grant recommendations to the Gift Fund, which are subject to review and approval by the Trustees of the Gift Fund. If approved, the Gift Fund will process the grant as soon as possible, usually within 2-10 business days.

| Grant minimums |
The minimum grant amount is $50. Grants can be made in increments of $5 over the minimum – or in increments of $18, as this figure has cultural significance for some donors. |
| Customize a grant |
You can ask the Gift Fund to recommend how the charity should use the grant: where it’s needed most or for a special purpose, such as toward an Annual Fund or to support a Capital Campaign. You can also choose the timing of the grant: as soon as possible, for a specific future date, or scheduled on a recurring basis. |

| Grant acknowledgments |
Grants to charities are accompanied by a letter requesting that the charity acknowledge the grant. You can specify how you would like the grant to be acknowledged in the letter:
